Facebook flashback
I don't want to start some firestorm of bitching about Facebook here, but I do want to tell a Facebook related story. I've been on Facebook for a while now and I hear a lot of people complaining about being friend requested from people from their past with whom they never wish to associate again. For the most part, I don't have this problem because a lot of the time, people I don't like, also don't like me, so we just avoid eachother and there's no need for pretense.
Today, I had an odd blast from the past with Facebook though not an unpleasant one. I got a friend request from a guy that I hadn't seen in 10 years. I met this guy, one time at an out of town party, he was cute, there was a little bit of making out, but it was all very PG13 and then, being in different cities, I never saw the guy again. I can't flippin' believe that he remembered this 10 years later, saw my picture on my friend's facebook friend list, and friend requested me! I think this proves for all of those folks out there who think that the blast from the past friend request is a bad thing, that sometimes it's a good thing. I had no clue that I was so dang memorable.
