The part time working world

I had a pretty weird day today. My agency sent me to fill in for the receptionist at a pretty generic sounding financial company. When I got there, the place was in a word oppulent.
I've worked in some very nice offices in the past. But this place is over the top. There is a Group of Seven original painting hanging up behind me as I write this.
Instead of the hard plastic deal they generally put down behind office desks to protect the floor and help your chair roll, there is a Persian rug under my chair. Not a 5 buck a metre cut off a roll at Candian tire 'persian' rug, but a woven by children with tiny fingers and bought at an auction kind of Persian rug.
I'm afraid to have anything more than water at my desk in case I spill.

I just sent you an email about how i've been unable to comment on your blog, but apparently it's worked itself out.

Sounds like a rather posh place, enjoy.

If you do spill there's always more where that came from. More children that is.
